So check it out,
I cant seem to find the window icons on the taskbar. You know...when you open a program or when your online, there are tabs on the toolbar that let you switch to different programs easier. It is not showing on my computer though. I checked the properties and such but its not coming through though. Please help.

Is there a little line going across your screen along the bottom, sides or top of your screen? If there is then it means that your toolbar is minimized sort to speak and you basicly gotta drag it back up.

if you press the windows key on your keyboard, does it appear. if so, check that it is not set to autohide.

if you can get on the net, (which i guess you can)
go to http://www.trendmicro.com
choose free tools, and do a housecall scan, it sound like some sort of malware thats causing you to not have a taskbar, housecall will probably find anything there.
also check your monitor settings, maybe they went out of wack and is hiding the bottom of your screen.

There's three sections to that bar on the bottom of your screen (not including the START button).
1. The quick launch (icons that let you launch an application with one click).
2. The active programs (that let you switch between running applications).
3. The task bar (shows the active tasks running in background, next to the clock).
Each one of these sections can be resized by clicking and dragging on the border (the dotted lines between sections), and if one section is too large, it obscures the other(s). Don't know if that's exactly what your problem is, but you might find something if you try resizing the quick launch bar or the task bar.
