Supertech Pistons

thinking about putting those "Supertech High-Performance Coated Racing Pistons" in my ka24de. has anyone done this? any tips? i know i have to hone the cylinder walls, but is there anything else that should be done at this time? and are the stronger connecting rods really necessary if im taking my compression from 9.5:1 to 10.5:1 ?
