I have new door panels to put on my 69 Beetle and I can't get the screw to loosen on the passenger side window crank.I have soaked it with kroil and it still won't break loose.Does anyone know if the threads on the screw are left hand or right hand?I have just about destroyed the head of this screw trying to get it loose.Does anyone have any advice? Thanks Gary

It's not a reverse thread screw. Probably just corroded in tight. Use a drill and CAREFULLY drill off the screw head. Remove the handle. Soak some more and try to work the screw shaft out with a pair of vice-grips.
