I have a D15B8 and the head gasket blew. My friend has the head off of his D15B7 and I am thinking of buying it from him. I heard from some people that I wouldn't be able to do it because it is changing from an 8 Valve to a 16 Valve. But I hear from other people that it shouldn't be any different. I know the Pistons already have the Valve relevies in them for 4 Valves per Cylinder. But I don't know. So if any one could give me any info on this, I would appreciate it. Thanks.

If the pistons have the spots for the extra valves, it will work just fine. It's the same series of engine, so it will just bolt right in, and because it's the same generation, will be fine using the existing parts, and electronics.
