What is the best brand of oil to run in a 420a motor and what weight? Do different oils give you different performance output from you car?

Whatever you do, don't start to run synthetic if all it has ever seen is regular. Beyond that, oil is oil just change it regularly.

Not true, as long as it meets the same standards like the viscosity and performance you can interchange between synthetic and non-synthetic, and you wont have any leaking as long as yours seals and gaskets are in good conditon, it doesnt matter how many miles you have on your motor.

I wouldn't chance it on a motor over 100k.
