My DC is f'd up... maybe the wife got me a new one and i'll have it tomorrow. Merry Christmas!

picture the truck in my sig, only with the factory wheels on it (for winter)

I've noticed a lot of people switch back to the factory wheels for winter. Why is that?

so your good ones dont corrode if you live in an area where they dump 2 feet of salt on the ground to get ride of the ice but it usually ends up getting rid of your fenders instead....lol...

Also, The tread pattern on my 20's isn't exactly the best pattern for snow/ice.
In addition to the wheels, I also have to throw in 4 bags of concrete (240lbs) over the rear axle to get more traction. Since I live in a city, we don't need snow chains, so that's a plus.

Mines in the sig, I need to get some new pictures of it. Unfortunately when I was in Kansas for a year a hailstorm did 2500.00 in damage to the roof hood and bedrails.

Though I have been needing a good excuse to get a cowl hood for sometime, so it may happen soon I just couldn't get over the fact of removing a perfectly good hood, but now it has several dings in it.
