I have a remote starter in my 1997 2dr. Tahoe. I remote started it, got in, and I must have at the perfect (or not perfect) time pressed the brake (shutting engine off) and turned the key to the on position. The engine dieselled for 2 seconds then died. Now, when I try to start it, the fuel pump doesn't whir, and it won't start. Does anyone have any idea what may have happened? I did replace the fuel pump relay, but it didn't make a difference. Is it possible that my fuel pump just so happened to fail at that exact time? Need help!!! Should I remove the car starter?

Do you have spark to the plugs?
Any anti theft lights on?
Do you have 12 volt power to fuel pump or the primer wire at prime connection?
