I have a 2000 Silverado with the sport side bed and I would now rather have the fleet side. Would it be a good idea to swap beds? I have seen a couple on eBay and maybe someone would rather have the sport side would trade.

Real easy to do.... Look for a local custom shop, they remove beds all the time and have them sitting in their yard ready for you to pickup. Just make sure you get the ground straps and wires at the clustr in the back before lifting the bed up. :naughty:

I have pulled beds before to work on fuel pumps so that is no problem. I live in north Alabama and mine is white..

Definitely check with local 'Truck Body' shops, you know, the ones that put tool beds, etc for Utility Company's. Especially since your's is white, that the standard work truck color so you should find plenty. Good luck!
