so im on my way home from work today thinkin i hate my job and my life lol :rofl: and a 89 5.0 stang pull out in front of me i was like this bitch almost hit me!!! so i follow him for a min or so and bam a red light!!i can see hes got nice xhaust and shit soudin real loud.. so i look at him and voice fuck u !! he rolls down the window and say on green bitch!! im power brakin the shit out of my piece of shit 3 speed cavy then green i beat the mutha fucker off the line bitch missed a shift i smoked his ass to the next light how ?? i have no fuckin clue he should have made my piece of shit look like i was standin still.... dont know if he had any mods on his car i know it aint over 200 stock on the 89 aint it like 175 ??or some shit?? any the mods on my car are pace setter headers cold air intake and high flow cat back and thats it.. dont get me wrong i like mustangs but everyone has one!!!! besides id rather have a thunderbird any day!!! who the fuck knows or care im just a loony bitch hahahah :rofl: :screwy:

you obvioulsy dont know what ur talking about. for starters, the 89 5.0 has 225 hp stock. its so easy to get more power out of that engine its insane, you get a big bump just from the intake and exhaust. the stock intake is insanely restrictive. im not gonna hate on cavys, but the stock 5.0 will rape your car if the guy knew how to drive. now i dont know why your goin on about how u like ur cavy and hate v8s, cause no one ever said a thing about ur cavy, you sound like a little rookie biotch.

Oh dear... first off, I'll leave the horrible typing alone, I'm getting used to it. Now I don't know too much about the import world, and what they consider a "properly built up engine," but in mustang land, 8lbs of boost is what you feed a motor straight from the factory. For me, a "properly built up engine" should be able to huff down at least 12-18lbs. And I'd love to see a comparison between a your idea of a built up crx, and my idea of a built up stang. And as far as nitrous goes, I'm not a user myself, but I don't see it as cheating, or fake horsepower. Nitrous requires a strong, stable engine as it's platform. It's merely the power adder. If I'm running a blown 5.0 and someone lines up next to me with spray, damned skippy I'll race him. And I'll not feel cheated if he beats me, just means he built a better combination than mine. So, go on and graduate high school, stop believe everything Hollywood tells you, read more, and see if you have a friend with a real car that can drive you to a dragstrip. You certainly don't want to roll up there in your "built up" cavy with the attitude you've got. Hell, I'd line up along side ya. Lemme know how my car sounds from behind under full throttle, haven't heard it from there.

The 1 gen (1981-1994) Cavalier that had a 84 HP base engine that was upgraded to 95 HP some time in the late 80's the 2 gen (1995-2005) had a 115 HP base engine.
