This is my first time entering the contest too. I have lurked for a while just admiring the nice chops in the previous contests, but never really had the time. Well I'm out of school, and have more free time. How Do I add a picture on here? I'm almost done with the chop, but don't know how to put it on here.

well you suck, cuz youre so good, i just plain old SUCK:( and i just go for simplisity, and a GOOD CHOP, most of my chops are simple, but done with great detail in mind, im not the best PSer, im FAR from...VERY FAR.

damn you guys owned this PSC, i didnt have a chance to get the pic in time, i was on vacation, so no attempt from me.

the first timers did great on their chops, but im having a toss up between mental, and the guy who had the crazy fender flares on his ride, sorry forgot your name:(

By the way, everything I used on the car was from an Audi of some sort. Wheels, and headlights from a 2004 A6, grill from a TT, Lower front spoiler from an A4, spoiler/decals off an Audi Le Mans car. Enjoy :flash:

All these chops are really good, but I found mentel's kinda funny.... You can see the purple paint from the Prowler off of which the wheels came. I'm not saying he did a bad job, I just thought it was funny :). Good job to all you first timers too, maybe some day I will get around to entering these contests.

anyway i have a question...every one elses chop looks really dark on my monitor...is that the way it is????..because my chop looks like daytime and everyone elses looks like dusk.,,,maybe my monitor is fugged!?!?!?!?!

Mentel!! You surprise me every time! That is sweet - I'd never pictured the Audi with Prowler sides and rear fenders, but I like. Where'd you get the front spoiler from? Now that I'm thinking about it, mine needed a hood scoop. Oh well. I honestly don't know if I like the paint better orange, or the hotrod silver/purple.

I think you can agree with me here: doing a convertible conversion and making the windsheild realistic is a pain in the rear. Your time is fast compared to mine. I just do my chops when I have free time (and ideas) at work.

Hey Andrew: Where'd you get the front spoiler from? Home-made? ;) I'm impressed...I can see the trees reflected in the metal. I like the brushed aluminum trim on Dk. blue, and I like the Audi marque better that way indeed. Looks like a lot of traction on those tires. :D Hey, what does the reverse side of your wheels look like?

well, the spoiler i crafted by hand! all i did was difficulty replicate the original spoiler, i kinda made a double........and yeah i have found a new love with the clone tool! worked good to my suprise, and the mirror shadow was also airbrushed if you couldn't tell.............thx for the compliments

I'm not going to be entering in this contest, I have absoultly no time with school and two jobs. But I should be back in PSC7.

I'm kind of glad I'm not in this contest after seeing all the arguements earlier in this thread. But I've read through them and tried to understand everything.

I'll be here to vote for this one though!

Funny thing about that wing... I chopped it from the roof/A-pillars of the car and pasted it as the wing. :p

hey how did you do the text so it appears to actually be on the car?

ive been wondering this for a long time.

That lettering was a pain in the ass (where the "b" and "o" wrap up over the hood a little). Basically, I aligned the text the way I wanted it, then in another layer, I just drew the curves of those two letters, and deleted the un-curved portion from the original text...

I've also been messing around with the 3D transform filter (Filters > Render > 3D transform). I haven't quite got that hang of that yet though...
