adding satelite radio antenna

I just found this forum and am the owner of 2 passats. one mine and one for my son. we bought him a satelite radio for christmas and would appreciate any help in getting the antenna wire to the front of the cabin. i installed in the back window channel and it is now hanging passenger side in the trunk. Thanks for any help.

Mounted mine on the rear package shelf. Works fine.
