blown brake light fuse in '98 Altima

This is my daughter's car. She has had this fuse blow about 3 times in the last few weeks however now it has a dead short. I did a quick look at the rear bulbs and sockets and the pedel switch and all looked fine. Where do I start looking. (I have a good DVM and can use it)

Look at all the lightbulbs real good including the front marker/turn signal bulbs. It would be very unlikely that the harness has become grounded unless additional accesories like an amplifier have been added.

Maybe you have the wrong bulb type in there.
