00 Jetta radio no power

I have no power to my radio; I don't see a corresponding symbol for the radio in the fuse box; VW dealer is telling me I have to bring it in to remove radio, fuse is in back of radio. Cost is about $100, which I'd rather not pay. I cannot take the radio out myself.........just checking to see if I'm missing something in the fuse box....thanks!

you can go to the tool store and for 15.00 get yourself a set of radio removal tools. remove the radio and replace the .15 fuse.
