I have a 1987 suburban 4x4 350 w/TBI. need to set timing because I just put a new engine in. My old distributor wrench is wore out and with slippage can not get the cap screw to turn. I don't need anything like a SNAP-ON, just one that is inexpensive, and will work on this type of distributor set up.. thanks in advance.

Here is one from Sears that is $10 http://www.sears.com/sr/javasr/product.do?BV_UseBVCookie=Yes&vertical=TOOL&pid=00947683000&subcat=Automotive+Specialty+Tools
You need a 9/16 dist wrench. KD Tools 104 is a tool that has 1/2 inch on one end and 9/16 on the other but will cost more than the one from Sears.
Any parts store should carry a 9/16 dist wrench.
Dont forget to disconnect the EST connector before setting the timing to Zero.
