1982 Tercel swap

Hi, I have a 1982 Tercel. The old motor was swapped with a 1.3l 2A engine... NO POWER.
I was wondering if anyone knoews what options I might have to get some power out of this car! I am willing to swap the engine and tranny.. Or mod the hell out of what I have already... so if anyone could help me out... that would be great..

These cars don't have much power to begin with so if you have around 95-100hp that is normal. That 1.3 is that the turbo one?

I wish it had a turbo.. I have about 69 hp and 72 ftlbs of torque If you know where I could get a turbo I'd be happy haha

They sell the 1.3 turbo MOTORS on ebay but not just a turbo.

I think my tercel has the biggest motor they had the 1.5 dohc, but i do not know if it will fit in your car. I know they sell a turbo for mine also.

hello i have a 1980 toyota tercel and it has a 1-ac 1.5 liter ohv with about 60-67 horse power and i was woundering about a motor swap... i heard you can but any a series motor or the 3tc or even the 4age also the Mr2 motor and i wanted somthiong that would still pass smog??? any help plz???
