Whenever I change my A/C from Defrost to any other setting I hear clicks coming from the Dashboard. This also happens when I turn the car on. Any Ideas?

This noise you hear is comming from your HVAC plenum. the actual noise you hear is the blend door/air diverter trying to cycle its range, in the process it clicks due to a "worn" or "Stripped" gear. is it under warrenty still? if so return it to the dealer. if not be prepared for a long exumation of this assmbly ;( i know how it can sound and i actually had this exact problem on a 1991 GMC 1500 sierra with digital HVAC controls.
Hope this helps

Do a search of this forum, lots of info. VERY common problem. $300-$800 repair cost depending on shop. If you're doing it yourself, plan on a full day project (or so I hear).
