ABS Light

I just got a 95 Jetta VR6 with 88000 miles. My ABS Light is on, not sure why. Can anyone tell me why or what I might want to check? Thanks

Could be several things...low brake fluid, worn brake pads, worn wheel bearing hubs causing an erratic signal from the wheel sensor(s), wheel sensor bad or its connections. These are just some of the things....
