I guess both of these is non-vanos (better for turbo). With ARP headstuds and MLS headgasket only, you can push the M50 motor safe to about 1.2 bar (450 hp). If you boost it more the motor will not be realible. Transmission and driveaxles will break too. Both of these cars use driveaxles and transmission from E36 M3 3,2.
