fujimi mk3 golf kits

just a stupid question to all you plastic model kit enthusiats.
if a fujimi mk3 VR6 comes with a VR6 motor does the fujimi COX si 16v come with a 16v motor? i have seen a couple of mk3 built up kits, but none with 16v engines. could anybody sped some light on this?

I think none of them comes with an engine. Fujimi kits are generally without engine, except for Enthusiast kits.

No, both can be build as curbside, but you can also cut out the engine hood and put in one single part, which in some way looks like a VR6. The one Fujimi sells as a 16V is very far away from that. To me it looks more like an old, simple 8V 1.8l. :rolleyes:

yeh horrible engine! The only vdub that i know that comes with a engine is the old revell corrado. And the revell mk2s

AMT's VW's where full detail. they had a Rabbit and Scirroco. pretty good kits too

that's pretty common with fujimi. There's a lot of kits where some came with engines and some didn't, and for the ones with engine, it's the same body as the curbside kit, so you have to cut out the hood yourself. Like the MKIII Supra and Soarer kits :lol2:
