1999 cd changer in trunk location

I have a 1999 taurus and I want to mount factory 6 disc cd changer in trunk. But I don't know where it is supposed to go. Can anyone please help me?

Mine is mounted vertically next to the left wheel well, near the antenna and radio stuff. This is where the factory wiring harness is found.

Thank you for your help. I know I'm pushing my luck, but, any chance of a picture?? If not, is the carpet cut out, and if so, how? Are there any changers that are mounted horizontally? Thank you again.
