Alright guys... I've got yet another problem. My cruise control stopped working on me. Last time it stopped working it was just a vaccume line that came undone, but now i cant seem to fint anything wrong. I've checked ALL vaccume hoses. Any ideas? Thanks!!

Well, there's that big diaphragm that attaches to the carb via linkage. Disconnect the vacuum line to it, then depress it in as far as you can while holding your finger over the vacuum attachment. You should feel vacuum on your finger when you let the diaphragm go. If it reinflates and you're positive it's not the seal around your finger that's letting it do so, then you will need to replace the diaphragm. Also, check the control head under the hood on the driver's inner fender - make sure the electrical connections are all tight and that no speedometer cables have fallen off or broken internally due to a jammed control head (both cases speedo won't work and you'll get a service engine soon light with a code 34 due to VSS). The only other area would be the switch on the steering column.

It turns out it is my diapham. Its sucking air from some unknown source, so I'm gonna replace it tonight, or tomorrow. Thanks for your help!

thats whats wrong with mine also. I checked it the other day: put my finger over the vacuum hose connector thing and felt nothing when i pushed the diaphram in so i guess its time for another trip 2 the pick and pull.
Later.

That's a common occurance with those types of CC - I used to have a perfectly good diaphragm in the parts bin but threw it out when I moved considering I don't have a car with the need for it. Oh well - at Ecology (if you're in AZ or SoCal) will sell you one for perhaps the cost of a six-pack.
