I wouldnt go any lower than 2" or you'll probably bottom out over potholes and speedbumps.
Different companies make different drop rates, so its really personal preferance for springs.
If you go any lower than 1.3", you'll probably need a camber kit.

Most people on PreludePower.com go with the Koni Yellows, so they should be good.

Koni Yellows and H&R springs is supposed to be a great set up, from what I've heard. I personally have coilovers (Ground Control) and I love them. So like you said, it's preferance.

I went to both website koni and h&r. Knoi saids 97-02 prelude, exc.sh, What does that mean? H&R has different springs, OE,sport, and race springs. It aslo saids 97-02 prelude. i don't know if it will work for the sh model.

"exc. sh" means it excludes the sh model. The H&R Sport springs will drop you around 1.5" and the race springs around 2-2.5"
Check out this website, they sell springs/struts for the SH I think.

i wouldnt drop more than 2 inches. I had my car dropped over 2 inches and it sucked driving like that everyday. But then again, i have coilovers so all i had to do was raise it up.
