Good Source for U-Platform Shop Manual?

It looks like I am going to want to get the factory shop manual for my 03 Venture soon. Searching on-line found the U-Platform manual from Helm for about $135.00; is this about the best price for these? Can anyone advise if there is a better source? Is the 03 Venture/ GM U-Platform service manual a one or two book set?
Thanks, Greg

I've purchased many factory manuals for my vehicles from eBay. The prices are a lot better, even with shipping added in. I've also purchased microfiche that the dealers use to find certain parts. Other sources for factory manuals are: www.factoryautomanuals.com; and www.autorepairmanuals.biz . Another way to view a factory manual which is becoming popular is on a CD or DVD. You can view what you want and print out the page(s) if you like. The benefits to this are lower cost versus the books, and they don't take up as much space. ( I tend to be old school and prefer the book format. It's easier to have it with you in case you need to access another section of the book during a repair.)

I purchased a "New" set of GM service manuals for my 2002 Silhouette from Ebay for only $57.79, that included shipping. You can call them and see how much they would want to sell them direct to you..

Rick & Mindy's Automotive, 1-888-manual9 is the toll free number listed on my receipt. www.shopmanual.com

Good Luck.

I'll 3rd the eBay route. Got my set of 3 for about $35. I also picked up a J-body (Cavalier) set for around $50. List for either set were around a hundred.
