t56 questions

ive got an s-10 that im plannin on dropping an ls1(or something similar) in sometime in the near future. i wanted to keep it a stick and am considering a t56 out of a camaro. are there any that are better than others? are they all pretty much the same? how much HP can they take? anything else you can think of that i didnt ask would be nice too :) im plannin on a mild build 400-500ish HP.

a fresh borg-warner t56 should fit you nicely....
