we do beat the VQ in one thing. and thats the ease of working on the thing, and the cost of boosting. but other then that, yeah the VQ is a much better engine. it is alteast 10 years more advance in design.

The LS1 was built by God and runs on the blood of Christ, but sperm works to. Its a known fact that the LS1 cannot be beat by anything, and anyone who says otherwise must be gay. I'd rather have a S52(T) though...sounds better.

That KA looks mean...but can't we just accept that the SR20DET and KA are good motors, and get over it. You guys are worse than some of the BMW guys I know...THE E30 is the only real M3!!! No the E36 is!!! No the E46 is!!!...gah.

haha theres no one to race and i always drive during rush hour. plus in new york they're either realy slow or really really fast.

i just talked to my buddy and it turns out that camaro ran 11.0 at the track with a 1.5 second 60'. but the thing was he didn't launch with the nitrous on and he has old plugs.

my friend was probrably only making 475whp during that run ( his real hp is 530+whp ) and he was spinning his 275 mm drag radials well into second gear so yeah he caught him on the top end.

you sure he was spinning 275 drag radials with 475whp? at almost 440whp i was running 225 drag radials and launched at 25psi (at the track) and they just chirped... and my car is super light.

that s14 is fast though... good vid.

yeah i know this guy personally, and his street tires on those 5 zigens are nitto drag radials in 275mm wide. and he uses weld wheels with micky tompsons for his track setup.

so as you can clearly hear he was spinning hard going into second. also this video was made last night when it was 20 degrees outside.

and not to mention he has a KA, so he makes more tq then you mark. :icon16:

yes anthony's could take off decent at a track with his track setup. his best 60' time is in the 1.7 range. but this is the street but yeah he did indeed hang in there with him off the line. but when hes spinning second, that did slow him down alittle. either way he did win so no need to make any excuses. that lt1 is indeed very fast.

Not that hard to do if you give it too much throttle.

I have 275 DR's on mine with roughly 325 RWHP at altitude and have burned them off a time or two at the track.

does he have the two step....sound like me did when he launched...

the last time i saw his car he didn't have one. but i know what you mean, it did sounded like he had a 2 step.

that............ or he was bouncing off his rev limiter..which I doubt he was on investing a good amount of money in to that ka-t.....
