Hyundai Excel GLX 98 Model

This problem has occured just over the last month, and had gradually been getting worse. I use the car normally, driving, everything fine, until i turn it off when the engine is hot not a cold start, the engine turns over noramlly but it doesnt start. It takes up too 15-30 Mintues before it will start again. A Mechanic said it mybe the Coils, but he wasnt 100% sure because unless the problem occurs he cant test it. So please if any has had the same problem, or knows of some who has had the same problem, please help. Your help is much appreciatied!

Yes TS They found it was the crank arm sensor, since they replaced it, all has been fine!

Can you please tell me what and were the crank arm senor is or do u mean the crank angle senor as i am having a problem very much the same. But my car does stop while just driving also it just kills the motor
