first truck kill, woo hooo....

it happened in the twisties! woo hoo....dang, its been a while since i've posted, but this...i gotta post this,my first truck kill, woot, i've always wanted to run a truck, errr.....pick up....anyways, im coming back from work and sitting at a light, four lane where two lanes turn left and the other two goes straight, im at the farthest one that turns left......im jus sitting there chilin listening to the radio when i realize this medium-sized truck pulls next to me, at first i didn't think nothing of it, untill a lil later when i hear a slight roar, i was like "wtf, did i just farted?" so i rolled down my window and turned the radio down just to make sure it wasn't my fart, this kid in the truck noticed i rolled down my window and turned his stereo up to make sure i can listen to the lyrics of "my humps" by the black eyes pea. To my suprise, he didn't rev again, but had that look in his face like "imma race y0h n0ob" hmmmk, light goes green we both punch it, i didn't launch like my regular stop light races cuz it was in the twisties and not a straight road but i still had a good 1st gear and to 2nd gear and 6k rpm i was about a half car on him, it was a short race since the next light turned red, slowed down at the red light and never saw him again, i quickly looked in my rear mirror and i saw some cheap underglow neon on his truck that didn't emit real glow at at all, o well, tis still a truck kill

sollie if the storys kinda lame, just wanted to share my first truck kill :p

mods so far on my car includes altezza lights, clear signals, obx short shifter w/ led shift knob, removed hubs and shaved emblems

more mods planned for the year 2006, i'll post pics and let you guys know about it for sure, peace out

If what you raced was a 4 banger Ranger or some other 4 banger compact pickup like I'd tend to think, I don't know if you could call it a truck... I've never understood the idea of putting a 4 banger in a truck. Assuming it was a 4 cyl. Ranger, I believe it, I raced a friends 4 cyl Ranger in my GP GT, just for giggles, and it was quite amusing. Try racing a truck with a couple more cylinders than your Corolla and you might have a little more respect for trucks. Not saying stock trucks are fast by any means, most aren't, but a compact/midsize truck with at least a V-6 wouldn't be left in the dust by your 17+ second Corolla.
