cut-out system

hi..

l got 97 formula.. and l got flowmaster system and l like the sound. but l want more sound:) and l am thinking to get cut-out system also..

my questions are;

1: should l get it?
2: it really increases power?
3: how is the sound? sounds more but bad? like you got no pipe? or sounds much much better then normal exhaust system?
4: do l need 2 cut out or just one?
5: (the most important :D ) how much will it gonna cost me (incld. labor)

3. Sound?? Louder.
4. Just one, after the y-pipe.
5. Cut-out costs $30-$40. Labor should be about an hour or so. Probably $100 total. Unless you get an electric cutout, then the price jumps pretty decent.

electric cut-out??? how? you mean control it from the, without getting ounder the car? thats the electric or somethingelse..?

also,

if l get a turbocharger how much HP. would l gain?

headers are giving better performance or a turbocharger..

on ebay l saw some turbochargers brand new, 300-400 bucks and hearders are almost the same price..

thats why l am asking..

No turbo set-up for an F-Body will be $300-400. It will be more like $3500-$4000 and even more.

Yes, the electric cut-out gives you a switch inside the car so you can open and close the cutout from in the drivers seat.

that electric cutout thing is awesome.. haha if a cop ever pulls you over for being loud, just hit it..and be like..what? its so quiet... ;)

turbo will give you wayy more power..but yeah. expensive as h3ll. also hard to install by urself..if anything get a bolt on supercharger...it'll give you significantly more power but it should be easier labor/cheaper labor...

lets say l got cut-out system and police pulled me over.. what is gonna happen? man amercan cops are crazy..

A friday night l got pulled over. the reasion is, my tires had gone to other lane 2 times.. well, my driver side windows motor is dead. when police came to my side, l opened the door, he got his gun and told me stay in the car, put your hands on the steering wheel and l said, (not to police, to myself) what the hell is goin on, l didnt do anything.:D anyway, he just checked and let me go.

haha yeah, those cops are damn jumpy nowdays... not suprising tho, some stupid f*kers that shoot cops thats why..ur supposed to stay in your car till they walk over, talk to you..etc etc. they did that to my dad too when he got pulled over for speeding :-D "STAY IN THE CAR" lol

l watch police v ideos on spike tv week days from 06 pm till 07 pm. man, cop went to driver side and he said hello sir, how ya doin today? right away the passanger shot the cop 3 times. but cop had life jacket and nothing happened and he defended himself.. man, l am lucky l didnt get a bullet on my ass!!

anyway.. l will get that cut-out system anyway.. l love high sounds..
