Well im 16 make $1600 a month and hungry for something more... I my car with all the options and the power of the b16 without spending all my money.. I will get to the point now, I am looking for a used EDM 1.6i VT with less than 80k (ya far fetched, up to 100k) all power options, and in excellent condition. No mods is prefered, I like to customize my own style. I got the cash to back it up who can help?

I am trying to find someone in Europe that can give me some help send me in the right direction and maybe even sell one if I am that lucky. Because of emission reasons the 1.6i VT's B16A only came with 150hp, and yes they came with a b16a...... info found here http://www.carpage.tmfweb.nl/vtec.htm

Unfortunatly no :( ....... 1.6i VT was only in Europe. The VTs were basically a classy civic with all power options and the sporty look and feel.

Then what's this :finger:

(sorry ;) )
It's not going to be easy to import a VT. Emissions won't be a problem but like civic_1.6_16v said, finding a good one is. I also live in Holland (which is a very tiny country) and there are only 40, yes 40 VT's which are originally Dutch.
Most VT's here are imported from Germany (so is mine) which often means the history of the car is unknown.
Also Holland, Germany, Belgium are countries with a bad climate for cars, a lot of salt in the winter -> hard to find one without rust.
I was very lucky to find a good one.
I think if you are serious about importing one your best bet is to look in the southern countries like Spain, Portugal, Greece and maybe France.
And another thing, most VT's didn't come with AC and power steering.

power steering is no big deal, and i can install a AC system..... Ya i know it is going to be hard to find but I will keep looking. Do you have any specific suggestions where I might be able to find a VT. I fond some 1.6i VT CRXs but the both had close to 200,000 miles on them :(

Well, when you wash your car, do not only wash the outside :D
I had my engine bay "steam cleaned" (?) and a can of degreaser works great :)

QuickSilverEF9 you might want to check the US laws regarding the importing of cars.
As far as I know you have to pay quite high duty on them. So high that its almost not worth importing them, unless they are VERY rare and exotic car. i.e. not a simple Honda Civic.
I know if it was easy I would have sold my car to a Yank years ago and bought something much nicer with the profit.

NO but they are a hell of a lot cheaper.
I think theres a lot of info on the US customs website, but from memory I believe Duty and handling fee's can work out to be about 40% of the value of the vechile.
