Coolant on intake valve

My cars been burning coolant since i replaced a piston, cyl 1 and 2 smokes when i pull the spark plugs.. cyl 1 i replaced the piston and maye just be burning oil but cyl 2 im sure is burning coolant. compression test came up perfect for both at 180psi. i pulled the intake manifold and noticed there is white residue all over one of cyl 2's intake valves... Ive been wondering if coolant was getting in BEFORE the head gasket and now this has really got me thinking... it wasnt burning coolant at all before if replaced the piston... it just had a bent rod and after i put everything back together it was burning coolant instantly... I've wondered if i connected somthing wrong to the intake manifold but all the connections are way before the valves and would throw coolant in every clyinder... i guess maybe its just throwing coolant up past the intake valve when it compresses? im just wondering if anyone has seen this before..
