need help

went to go conect a small led so i could see the area below the ashtray. spliced the wire from the ashtray light and the led worked fine untill i forgot to tape the ends up and they touched, shorting them. I have no lights on my radio, ac, shifting section, only the gauges by teh steering wheel get the light. Did i blow a fuse, or did i cause some serious damage. any help is greatly appectiated

Prolly just a fuse, check in the fuse block on the side of the dash, passengerside.
