I've got a problem...recently, for no apparent reason, my rear speakers quit. They are stock, but i do have a pioneer cd player in. when you turn all of the sound towards the back, you can hear some quiet midrange, but virtually no bass. all the fuses appear to be in order. how can i investigate further? Also, i never crank my music up really loud and they don't crackle like blown speakers normally do. What's up?
Any help is appreciated.

make sure you check the connection in the rear of your pioneer. if you didnt solder the wires or tape really good i have heard of the wires comeing apart. for you though you may only have a strand touching each other just a weak connection. check your wattage output also on your pioneer you may be able to change it in your settings. i suggest a speaker upgrade, i di blow mine within 2 months of installing my pioneer. most chrysler stock standard speakers can be as low as 12 wats. if your output is 50x4 you could very easily blow speakers of 12 wats.

also to add to that if you did blow them you will usually hear a rattling sound when the bass hits.
