Wanna know what really pisses me off... The fact that I'm not allowed to dip in stores. I understand why smokers aren't allowed to smoke in public places, second hand smoke and whatnot. BUT in all honesty what possiblle risk do i pose to your health by having tobbaco in my lip. It's not touching you, you'r not breathing in fumes. The only possibble way i see it afecting anyone else is by them getting kinda grossed out seeing me spit into an empty coke bottle. People drink in public places, people eat in public places, but i can't dip, cause i might offend someone, and tobacoo is "EVIL". It's total bullshit. :twak:

Sounds like they just don't want you spitting in their store; it's probably not the dip, but the spit.

Try going in with a bottle of spit(clear) and spitting into it. I bet their reaction is the same.

It's the principal not that i can't go that long. And yeah i can swallow it, but even then, the other day i went into walmart with a pinch in, and they asked me to spit it out or leave, p.s. i was swallowing the spit. So i think that its just they dont want tobbacco in thier stores. Which is discrimination in an off sort of way.

Chewing and spitting are a habit. They don't want you forgetting and spitting on the floor. Ever slipped on tobacco spit on linoleum? It hurts, bad. It's slicker than snot on a doorknob. It's for the same reason you can't walk in without shoes, liability reasons.

Now quit chewing, and you don't have to bitch about it.

It's funny how the smokers defend their right to smoke, but won't come to help out another tobacco user.

Personally, I'd rather see someone chew than smoke; I don't have to be subjected to the same substance. Look away if it bothers you to see -- can't do that with smoke.

don't seem to have any problem here in ohio... at least i've never been asked to leave when i walk into a store, spitting into a bottle... but then again, its not really that big of a deal to me, same with smoking, people have the right to breathe as well. just my $.02

I know people who do it to substitute a cig. I personally hate dipping, I prefer a nice Marlboro Light instead. But I rarely smoke now, maybe once every 2 weeks or so with friends.

my dad used to chew and that shit is f**kin nasty as all hell...i wouldn't want to see someone w/ a bottle of it in my store....keep it outside!

A friend of mine chews...I fuckin' hate that shit. I won't let him chew/smoke in anything that I'm driving or in my house. Damn it's just a nasty habit, I dunno how people even get started on it.

Dipping is disgusting. I hate seeing people spit in their bottles and cans. Especially when they think a clear plastic water bottle is acceptable.

Yeah.. I dont have anything against people smoking or people chewing.. its when they spit it out when I got a problem, that shit's just nasty.
