another "white smoke" question

Anyway. I started my FC early in the morning to go to work, I noticed it was blowing white smoke. I thought to myself, oh shit. Then I smelled it, it was sweet. I drove it to work, had my friend rev up to 7k, hold it, then let it idle. No smoke this time. I parked it and after I got off work I went and started her up again. Looked like some more white smoke was blowing out, just not as much. I smelled it this time, wasn't sweet. I just got a face full of exhaust fumes. My question is, does this ultimately lead to rebuild? It blows white smoke only on cold start. Such as early in the morning, it's not consistant, and in the day, the exhaust doesn't smell sweet. Any ideas? Anything would be welcome - thanks in advance.

Cold start smoke is the first signs of a dieing motor. It means that the coolant o rings are sealing when the housings are heated and expand a little. But chances are you will be looking at a rebuild in the not to distant future. You coudl look at some of that block weld junk, ive heared of it saving some motors.
