Key stuck, gear-shifter squeaks, issues galore

Hi

My GP is seemingly falling apart

today the gear-shifter was making a squeaking sound everytime I changed gear positions (ie. Park to reverse.. etc) and I had no idea what that was

Then, I just got home 10 minutes ago, and the key is now stuck in the ignition of the car... I tried turning it on, off, changing gears, nothing... so.. I just hope my battery does not die due to the gear position light

And, my emergency/parkiing brake seems to not function too hot anymore as well...but..the main issue is the shifter, and the key..

Anybody, advice would be great!!

What is the year, model (GT, SE, GTP), and engine?

Do you know your transmission model?
