95 blazer rear hatch button??

the button on the back of my blazer under the glass seems to have no function othere than when i put my key in it, it will lock/unlock all doors, but when i push it, nothing happens, is this normal? shouldnt it open the glass or something? anyone else have this problem?

Yes, it is suppose to pop the back glass latch. The doors have to be unlocked to do this. No key is necessary to activate the latch with the doors unlocked.

Lol, theres nothing worse than having a button that doesnt work, not that i would ever use it anyway, i have a button on my keychain to pop the glass, but if its broke, u gotta fix it;)

wrong button, that button works fine, its the one on the back, exterior of the truck that dont work.

My button wouldn't pop the back hatch. It's just the button, no keyhole. Just popped of the inside hatch cover at the area of the button, and guess what? The button plug was disconnected. Plugged it back in, now I can open the back hatch by pushing the button.
