gear ratio

I have a 2001 4.8 2wd ext. cab, taht i just lifted, and i want to change my gear ratios for more power. i was wondering what the stock gear ratio is, and what you guys woudl suggest changing it to.

What is your complete 17 digit VIN number?

im not positive but I think the stock would be 3.73. dont quote me, im just throwing that out their. Have shortbus check for a definet answer.

Look for the sticker in your glove box that has the 3 digit codes. Look for the Gxx codes. Then go to the 3rd reply in this thread Gear Ratio Poll (http://www.automotiveforums.com/vbulletin/showthread.php?t=399716&highlight=gear+ratio+rpo) and you will know what your truck came with stock.
