Keeping my Firebird safe during winter.

My 96 Firebird is currently being stored in my barn. (which is not heated btw.) should i like go out and start it and let it run for awhile every couple days? or just let it sit or what? thanks.

It is best if you can find a nice day to go ahead and take it around the block. Best if she gets warmed up WHILE driving.
I try to do this at least once a month with mine.

well the thing is is that its kinda trapped in the barn untill the snow melts. haha. so could i just start it up for awhile in the barn and let it run?

I probably wouldn't. Just idling is actually hard on a motor. Creates hot-spots.
If it were mine I would just let it sit. When it was ready to come out, I would run it around the block till it was warm and change out the fluids while warm.
If you can get the tires off that wouldn't hurt either.

Dude ur lucky. Mine just sits out in the snow, rain, sleet, etc.... I would do anything for shelter but i dont wanna pay the $200 per month for a heated garage.

go buy some STABIL...put it in the gas. Since u have an older engine..it would be a good idea.. I thought that shit would only work good for small engines...but lemme tell you..that shit works great on car engines.
I leave my car un started for weeks at a time and since i have an older car it sounds a little rough starting...i put that stabil in there and starts like i just turned if off...except its been on ice for 2 months.
