driver side power sliding door lock jammed

Recently we had our 2002 Venture LT in the dealership to replace the driver side front wheel bearing; they noticed we had not replaced the power door handles and so I said they could also do that. Since then, the driver side power door will not open at all, and as far as I can remember it opened fine before they replaced the handle. The door will not open w/ key fob, inside or outside handles, inside button or overhead console button. The lock is jammed, which is probably the entire problem. When I unlock the doors w/ the key fob I can hear it trying to unlock, but it doesn't. It is stuck from the inside too--I can't manually push the lock up.
I contacted the dealer and he said that all they did was unscrew the handle and screw a new one on, that he doubted it had anything to do w/ this. I have an appointment Wednesday afternoon for them to look at it, and of course will have to pay if it is unrelated to the handle replacement.
Any suggestions on how I might be able to fix this myself?
