interior neon lights on a 04 Lancer

I want to hard wire my interior neon light on my 04 lancer, the thing is that i want to put them where if i open the door the neon light turn on. can anybody help me?

get a relay, find a light that turns on when the door is open, splice its positive wire to the input wire on the relay.
