I have 02 blazer when it is below 20 outside the hot air turns to cold not long after it is running. When it is above 20 I don't have this problem. Any suggestions?

Yes after it is running for abou 10 minutes the air is cold. I have checked the radiator which is full and I have added a little bit of antifreeze to the overflow tank.

try a thermastat it might get stuck... you do a flush latley? dex cool has a tendancy to sludge up if you have the stock radiator cap on and you heater core could be sludged. thats all i could think of

fyi get 2 bottles of flush... it says on the bottle to use 2 if you system is larger than 12 quarts....blazers is 12.1 so it would be stretching that bottle thin and dex coo get chunky... get rid of your stck radiator cap goto advanced auto and get a stant cap so this doent happen again. its under 5 bucks...ever do a flush on the blazer b4?

No I haven't done a flush on the blazer. It has 42000 miles on it and I wondered if I should run water threw the heater core. I did notice that the radiator cap was a little rusty. If I do a flush did I just waste my time putting in a new thermostat.

na its fine... this is the easiest cleansest flush youll ever do.. pull off your drivers wheel and pull out the wheel well at the radiator there will be a little white drain just like any other radiator... youll need a 1/4 inch inch socket to stick in the square hole. close it up and add the 2 bottles of flush and rest with water..drive it regulary for a day running your heat on high as often as possible to flush the core good then drain it in a day.. fill it completely with water and run it for a few mins with heat on high drain and add dex cool.... then throw on the new stant cap hopefullt thatll fix your problem
