My Aurora Got Slamed By An F150 When My Wife Was Driving. Thankfully The Fender And Body Work On The Aurora Seems Like It Is Going To Be Easy. I Have Just Done Struts, Tires, Full Maintenance Tuneup. Done Myself And Done Very Inexpensive. I Have Posted Another Thread Regarding My Steering Column Being Loose, But There Is One More Anoyance That Prevents The Car From Being Nearly New.
My Steering Conrols Have Always Worked Very Well, But Cosmeticaly They Are Crap. I Found Some At A Junk Yard That Were A Little Better But They Are Now Getting Pretty Bad. I Haven't Been Able To Find Any On Ebay That Look Like A Good Bargain. Does Anyone Know The Dealer # For The Conrols?
I Have Tried To Keep The Car Original, But If I Have To I May Just Paint Over The Controls And Replace The Original Radio, Again, But This Time With A Newer Head Unit. Im Not A Big Sound Buff And I Think The Stock Aurora Has Excellent Sound, But The Convienence Of A '95 With Steering Wheel Controls Is Great.
