MKIV NA/Turbo differneces

I have recently become intrested in purchesing a MK4 supra and I have read some very intresting things about tuning the NA 2jz-GE engine. While doing other reserch I found out that the turbo version corners significantly better .98G vs .86G and the breaking was better with the turbo version. Does it share the same suspension just with different settings and different tires? Or is there somthing that I am missing? Are there any other major differences in the cars other than stock power? Are most of the aftermarket components for the turbo compatable with the NA? How much different is the GE than the GTE in the block design I have seen some impressive (over 700hp) figures from the GE with aftermarket turbos is the GE just as strong?

the Supra TT has about 100 more HP(320 for TT vs. 220 for NA), a six speed manual or six speed auto(as opposed to the 5 speed in the NA), a stiffer suspension, and bigger brakes. you cant strap a turbo to a 2jz-ge because the compression is higher than in the 2jz-gte.

EDIT: forgot to say, i think the turbo is the only one in the lineup that comes with a leather interior, but im not sure.

Well I know that the turbo makes more power that is a given, and I guessed that the suspension is stiffer, what I am trying to ask is if I stiffen the NA version up can I expect the same kind of cornering as the turbo version, or is the susbension geometry different somehow? Yes I can boost the NA version by installing some lower compression ratio forged pistons, that is why I asked if the parts were interchangeable. Plus as an added side bonus if I can boost it I should be making more hp per psi than the turbo version, think about it 220hp at one bar of boost (assuming ambent temp) would be over 440hp (on proper setups up to 15% more power can be had thanks to incoming boost displaceing exaust gasses in the combustion chamber with a small amount of valve overlap or so I have been told) the stock turbo version puts out 320hp on around 11psi best I understand it, do the math the GE has to have a hotter cam or somthing. Is the 5 speed any weaker than the 6 speed? If so can they be swaped? Or is there another good tranny swap I can do? Is the rear diff just as strong on the NA or would I have to swap that too? BTW I could care less for leather interior since i just want to put raceing seats in it anyway.

the rear differntial gearing is different, you cant use the same diff in the N/A that you can in the Turbo. im pretty sure the suspension geometry is the same, but i think the turbo had better tires, to atribute to its higher handling numbers. so you can use the same coilover kits in the N/A than you can in the turbo. i think you can throw in the same big brake kits on the N/A than you can in the turbo, cause i know that the brake parts are interchangable. as for the engine, i have no idea, you should be able to change out the N/A pistons for turbo ones, but you would still have to upgrade to a turbo fuel system(i think) as the N/A pulls in alot less air and fuel. as for the transmission, you should be able to swap them if you have all the right parts, as they are both the same chassis. better let someone with more expertise than me cover the trans though, cause i really dont know.

The two are completely different. The transmissions are not the same the turbo models came in a 4 spd auto or a 6 spd manual. the n/a came in a 4 spd auto (different internals) and a 5 spd manual. Leather is an option for both cars. The suspension is not really and different, just a little bit stiffer in the turbo models. The engines are almost the same, with a few differences on the turbos. The maifolds are completely different when it comes to routing of the pipes. The brakes are bigger on the turbos as well as the rotors, wheel, and tire sizes.
