passlock problem need help

i have a 96 cavalier, last year i had a problem with my car the engine cranked but not started! the mecanic fix it the car started but the antitheft system was disconnected! i did not care the car was fixed, last week i bought a remote car starter, install it... it started for 2 sec then it dies! wasn't sure if i needed the bypass module! i bought it but when i wanted to connect it all the passlock wire were dead so was no use to connect them

nb the car starts with the key!

What do you mean the pk wires were dead???? Those are resistance wires, not 12v wires.
