ae86 gt-s?

I am about to buy an 86 hatchback corolla for $600. on the hatch it says gt-s but under the hood it has a 4ac engine. I thought gt-s came with 4age engines and sr5 with 4ac. it has a little over 100k and runs good just needs brakes do you think it's a good deal?

if it's got a 4AC , it's not a GT-S.. ALL GT-S were made with the 4AGE...

it surely is an indestructible car... but a 4AC is slow a slug.. but it will get you anywhere without problems... unlike other cars.

well what about the paradise racing power pack they have for it wouldn't that put you up there with the 4age. by the way its kinda odd the the trunki says gt-s in the back. i'm gonna check the vin maybe it had a swap done.

4ac has like 70hp, 4ag has like 120hp. even with that power pack, you might keep up, but it probably costs more than doing a 4ag swap.
