searched but didn't find what i was lookin for. My question is: what do i need to do to take off the side moldings and would the paint underneath be a different shade than the rest of the car?
P.S. It's a 99 black z24

That all just depends on how much the rest of the paint has faded or been maintained. It also doesnt help how old the car is. 6 years is alot of time for paint to get faded and messed up. Chances are the paint under the molding is still in factory condition and color.

There is only one real way to find out. Rip those bad dogs off.
