Sway-A-Way shocks

Anyone ever heard of these? Apparently they're threaded body shocks that I think you use your own springs with. A guy near me is selling them w/springs. He says they retail for $1200, but I checked online and it's more like 5-600. He wants 300 for them and I'm just wondering if they're worth the money since I need new shocks badly.
