Very early days as yet but as I can't do any spraying at he moment (for reasons I won't bore you with) I decided to have a go at replicating the Cervini C500 as closely as I can.
http://members.aol.com/jonesandy898/cervini.jpg
So far the front bumper & side scoops have been built up from plastic sheet & Tamiya Epoxy Putty.
Looks like being a long project as that only leaves the hood scoop, rear spoiler, side & rear skirts to do ! - I'll post more progress as I make it.
Thanks for looking.

They're Mirage P/E rims from Mr.Model in Brazil - I happened to buy a set recently without having any idea which kit to use them on then the Mustang kits arrived and as luck would have it they're a fairly close match to the ones on the 1:1.

They're just 4 pieces of sheet styrene - I made a base plate just a bit bigger than the window opening and then glued it over the window - then it was a case of adding the sides and finally the top. I made the top a bit bigger than required and then sanded it to fit the side pieces.
Cheers

Doesn't look as though I'll get it in primer just yet as temperatures just above freezing here at the moment and forecast to stay the same for the next few days.
white97ex/Crisjr - As I doubt I'll be able to get the correct Ford colour over here I was thinking about either a solid red/white stripes or Mica blue/silver stripes.
Cheers

Managed to get a quick coat of primer on today - it's highlighted a lot of scratches etc that nrrd to be taken care of - so more sanding & filling before I'm ready to spray the colour coat.

Well despite misting thin coats on with the airbrush to try & seal the masking tape I've still managed to get some red onto the white stripes. Problem is worse round the rear panels where there's lots on curves and difficult to get the masking tape to sit down properly -where there's a flat panel it's come out ok. Hopefully should be able to gently sand off the oversprayed areas before clearcoating - failing that I'll have to touch up the white using the airbrush.

looking awesome. In the future, when spraying stripes like that, if you will hit them either with a blast of clear or the color you are trying to mask off, it will seal the tape off and allow you to spray the color without problems
