92 tempo check engine light

my check engine light only comes on when im driving. that is the only time. i dont have any idea why its doing this. can someone maybe help me? ive been told that it could be the fuel pressure regulator. what do you think?

Your car's computer should have the code stored in its' memory. Take it to autozone, they will scan it for free to tell you what exactly the problem is.

did that. it only pops on when im driving. when i shut the car off it erases the code. they think its a bad fuel pressure regulator. though i also have a bad alternator belt. could both throw a code like that?
