Hey, is that an actual singer in your avatar? If it was, I was gonna guess it's either a really dark picture of Rob Zombie or that guy from Sevendust...whats the story? the color looks off, but it could be solarized or photoshopped...

Thanks LV, and G, I agree that Joey is one of the best drummers, certainly in rock music, today. His abilities are overshadowed by the immense sound that Slipknot puts out, but if you've ever been to a 'Knot show, than you know very well how good he is when he rips a solo.

I've played with a few bands on and off, mostly I just jam with my friends. I'll try and see if any music from any bands I've played with is on the net. The most likely suspect is Jhelom, I played lead guitar in a few of their songs. I'll check :)

I love music and I would be my left arm to play a instrument.....(hey I could be a drummer for def fleppard) but anyway I cant play jack but I would like to do like sound for a good band

Well in my search for music I found somthing interesting. The band I played a few numbers with, Jhelom, had a record deal with Jet Speed Records. Things happened and they split with Jet Speed. Now Jetspeed doesn't have them listed in the Artists, but if you go here (http://www.jetspeedrecords.com/artists.htm) and scroll down to the bottom of the screen, in the row of pictures they are the bottom left picture... Isn't that illegal? Using their likenesses and touting them as artists under this label when they arn't?

Donno if it's illegal, but its just kinda wrong in my mind.

Matt DeVore: Drums (A very very very bad ass drummer, professional level without a doubt)

Oh, yeah. I know what you mean bout Joey Jordison. MD (Modern Drummer) did an article on him a few months ago. Ronn Dunnett, a Canadian drumbuilder, provided a couple of the kits they record/gig on, and a few years ago, Ronn offered a contest to go meet Joey and the others. I didn't win(:cry:), but I did get a new Dunnett Snare. :D

Hope that's not too immoral of me to take it and use it for myself. It was already solarized and with whatever other visual retouchings that it has now. I really like it - I use it as my avatar here, at Hostboard, and as my AIM buddy icon :)
